Welcome to Muggins, a free online cribbage game available at freeonlinecribbage.com ("Muggins," "we," "us"). By using Muggins, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. The Service

Muggins is a free multiplayer cribbage game. Core gameplay — creating rooms, playing with friends, and practice/solo modes — is free and always will be. We also offer optional purchasable digital cosmetic content (card and board theme packs) that change the visual appearance of your game. These are cosmetic only and have no effect on gameplay or odds.

2. Accounts

You can play as a guest without an account. To save purchases, stats, and your leaderboard history across devices, you'll need a real account (email/password, Google sign-in, or an email sign-in link). You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. Purchases

• Prices for theme packs are shown before purchase and charged in U.S. dollars.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• All sales are final. Because theme packs are digital content delivered immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law.
• If you believe a purchase was made in error or without authorization, contact us at contact@freeonlinecribbage.com and we'll look into it.
• Purchased content is tied to your account and is non-transferable.
• We reserve the right to revoke purchased entitlements and/or suspend an account in cases of payment fraud, chargebacks, or abuse of the purchase system.

4. Acceptable Use

Don't use Muggins to harass other players, exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for unintended advantage, use automated tools/bots to play, or attempt to disrupt the service for other users.

5. Intellectual Property

The Muggins name, design, and card/board artwork are owned by us or used under license. Purchasing a theme pack gives you a license to use that content within Muggins — it does not transfer ownership of the artwork itself.

6. Service "As Is"

Muggins is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (or $0 if you haven't made any purchases).

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Muggins after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when that happens.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
